What's new at East Hills
Men’s Breakfast Make plans now for the Men’s breakfast---April 27 at 8a, in the Community Room at East Hills! We will have breakfast together, fellowship, and be encouraged with a devotional thought. Fathers bring your sons. Guys bring your friends. If you want to help cook contact David at email@example.com.
Mental Health Resource Group Saturday, April 27, 4:30p at The Grove. Judi Wright will be leading the discussion based on a children’s book by Daniel Amen. It’s all about the ANTS- Automatic Negative Thoughts. While aimed at children, Judi says she uses the concepts in the book regularly in her counseling and own thought processes. We hope that sparks your curiosity to join us on the 27th! Looking ahead: May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Join us at Lake Sacajawea for “Run the Path” on Saturday, May 4, at 9a.
Life After Fifty Join the over 50 crowd Monday, April 29 at 6p in the East Hills Community Room. Don’t miss this potluck gathering!
Parents Night Out The first Friday of every month we provide free childcare at the East Hills campus from 5:30-8p. We would love your kids, newborn to 5th grade, to come enjoy dinner, some crafts, games, and a lesson about who God made them to be. The kids get to have a blast and you can enjoy a date night, grocery shop alone, or go home and take a nap! May 3.
GLOW Seminar For most of us “Evangelism” is a scary word. But what if being a witness for Jesus meant something less intimidating? Join us on May 4, 9a-noon, in the Community Room at East Hills, to discover and be encouraged in your own unique personality style! You were made to reflect the light of Jesus to a dark world. This event ends with lunch together and childcare is provided.
Starting Point Are you new to our church family? If you would like to learn more about who we are and what we believe, join us Sunday, May 19, 5:30p at the East Hills Community Room.
